Clarksville War Memorial

Clarksville War Memorial

This War Memorial area flows well with the rest of the Clarksville Town Campus. With the ferns behind the memorial blocking some of the noise from the parks, museum building and the new firehouse. It will be its own space, but be connected with the rest of the campus through walkways.

The campus is irrigated through recycling water from the retention ponds and the bioswales from the buildings will filter pollutants from runoff that aids in the greener measures.

The benches accommodate up to 100 visitors. The pergola, matching the design of the
monument memorial erected over the benches, provides an abundant amount of shade for guests.

“Others gave up their lives for service, now both Veterans and families have a nice place to honor those loved ones”.
- Greg Isgrigg Town Council President

“The War Memorial area is something the citizens of Clarksville should be proud of for years to come.”
- DonTetley , Clarksville Town Councilman
